Groom Buddy is an early product built by a small team. This page says what we collect, why, and how to reach us. We tried to write it the way we would want to read it.

What we collect

Your email address, when you enter it to use the app. The things you send Buddy while grooming: dog details from the intake, questions, photos, and voice notes. And basic usage analytics, like which screens you visit and which features you tap, so we can see what is working.

How we use it

To run the app and answer your questions, to fix and improve the product, and to send you occasional email about Groom Buddy, like early-access updates or founding-member offers. You can opt out of those emails anytime, and every one will include a way to do that. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone for their marketing.

AI processing

Buddy's answers are generated by AI. The questions, dog details, and photos you send are processed by the AI providers we use to produce the answer. Please don't include personal information you wouldn't want processed that way.

Where it lives

Your saved grooms and chats live on your own device, in your browser's storage. Your email and usage events are stored with our hosting and analytics providers.

Your choices

Want your email and data deleted, or just want out of the emails? Write to us at julian.vitenson@gmail.com and we'll take care of it.

Children

Groom Buddy is not directed at children under 13.

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
